Apprenticeship Charter

At our summer conference back in July 2012 we decided it was time to put together an apprenticeship charter. Something which helps us state the promises and expectations we have regarding our business, apprenticeships and training.

Since the conference our business admin apprentice Amy Wood has been sifting through the entries and recording the ideas generated by Remit employees. Here she is busy at work;

Strawberry Tea Party

On Friday 17th August Remit held a Strawberry Tea Party to raise money for Breast Cancer Care. Below are our efforts;

 

We had lots of fun and most importantly raised money for charity. In the end we raised £193.50!

Olympic Spirit at the Remit Conference!

It was just over a week ago that we held our 9th Remit conference. On the day we had an Olympic theme due to the fact that the Olympic opening ceremony was held the day after our conference. On the day we were lucky enough to borrow an Olympic torch from one of the Nottingham torch bearers and all Remit employees were invited to have their photo taken with the torch. Needless to say everyone was very excited at this once in a life time opportunity.

Inline with the Olympic theme, staff were split into groups to compete in competitions throughout the day. The winning teams were:

• Gold - Weight Lifting
• Silver - Diving
• Bronze - Football

 We are all now very much in the Olympic spirit and enjoying the games!
